Bali The Island of the Surf Activities

This amazing destination has so much to offer for a luxury kite surf holiday; huge flat water beginner zone, wave’s spots for all levels, beautiful 4 and 5 star hotels. Bali is a great resort for the non-kite surf partner and family as well, with a unique blend of rich culture and outstanding natural beauty combined with exciting nightlife and wonderful shopping.

Bali is an idyllic Iceland, encircled by brilliant turquoise waters boasting white-sand beach retreats and beautiful boutique hotels. A holiday to Bali will have you mesmerized by the natural beauty, unrivaled hospitality and the unique serenity this incredible Iceland embodies. There are a number of great kite surfing spots in Bali to fit all levels and experience. We would recommend calling one of our Kite surf travel experts to run through this resort in detail but broadly there are the spots:

Sanur Beach: The village of Sanur located on the eastern coast of Bali about 30 minutes drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Sanur is the main kite surfing zone and where our Kite surf Centre is based. Here you will find a huge flat water shallow zone directly off the beach making for a perfect training ground. For the more confident kite surfers there is a very safe and easy wave spot much further out.

The average temperature hovers around 30°C year-round. There are dry and wet seasons – dry from April to October and Wet from October to March – but it can rain at any time of year and even during the wet season rain is likely to pass quickly. In general, the best months are April to September, when humidity is lower and the rain is light and infrequent. The best period for Wind Sports like Kite surfing is June to August.
