Tempong Rice Delicious and Healty

Hello from Bali! Great day to tell you about experience during holiday in Bali. Bali offers amazing panorama or amazing view, Bali also has many delicious and savory traditional foods. But many people concern about the food they eat clean or not , healty or not. No worries because today i will tell you about one of food you can find in bali which is delicious and healty at the same time. well, here it is!

Tempong rice originally from Banyuwangi which is Java island but nowdays Tempong rice also popular in Bali and the most famous restaurant sell Tempong rice is Nasi Tempong Indra. Tempong rice consist of Rice, Vegetable stew , Fried Tofu and tempe  , Salted fish and the one that make this food special is the Matah Chili that made from raw ingrdient .

The vegetable that used for stew is genjer , cabbage , long beans, cassava leaves , kale , lettuce , spinach plus basil leaves and sliced cucumber. and for the side dish you can choose from chicken , fish , empal , seafood , and many others.

In the past, tempong rice is food for farmer in the rice fields. rice with simple side dish and vegetable stew for the farmer lunch who work hard to rise the rice plants. But after some times this food become popular for general public and many restaurant sell this food.

The taste of tempong rice is delicious and also healty because various of vegetable stew start from lettuce , long beans and many others. For you who came to bali and want to eat healty food then you must try this, You can find many restaruant sell tempong rice.
